Park Ridge's first school house, well actually the 2nd, 3rd and 4th school all rolled into one with the countless additions. The little out-building on the left was exactly that, the outbuilding......no plumbing facilities. This was located on the northern end of the current Pascack Reformed Church property on Pascack Road. The actual 1st school was sold to Mayor Perry who moved it to Magnolia Ave (Kinderkamack Rd) to be used as a carpenters shop and then sold to the Pascack Battery Company. |

Park Ridge A&P (1930's ?) when it was located on Hawthorne Ave., across from the train depot in what is now P&A Auto Parts. When you go in check out the metal ceiling which is still in place. The A&P originally came to town in 1911. |
